So, I’m basically done with all but 3 tracks on my 4th album, 5th Dimension. The first two should be easy enough, they just need a little work, and I should have them done by Thanksgiving weekend.
The third, though… That’s gonna be a task. See, when I originally recorded it, the last part I did on the song was this cool synth I used to give it a solo. I was really happy with it and exported it, but then I forgot to save the file before closing FL Studio. And I didn’t realize that until I went to make the mix files for the album, and by then, I completely forgot how I did it and couldn’t figure it out because one of the FX I put on the synth totally warped the sound, so I just cut the song instead. I couldn’t figure it out when I went to do the 3.0 version, either, and being stuck on it was one of the reasons I took so long finishing that before going on hiatus. It’s also one of the reasons I kept putting off coming off of hiatus, too. Because I knew what a pain it was gonna be to try and fix this track again. At least now I have a couple ideas about what I may have done to create it, though.
Hopefully I’ll get it figured out by the end of the year. Fingers crossed.
