I ultimately decided against it, but I had been debating for a while whether or not I should rename this track. The popularity of Cyberpunk 2077 kinda makes it feel awkward to me, so I was thinking about changing it to “Dystopian” or something like that.
I mean, I love the game, and I love the genre. It’s why I named it that in the first place. I just don’t want anyone thinking I named it after the game. Really, I was just trying to create a song that sounded like what I thought the genre should sound like. I took it a bit literally and tried to create a punk song with synthesizers instead of guitars. I think it turned out pretty cool.
