I meant to post this on Friday, but then I got distracted, it slipped my mind, now it’s two whole days later, and I’m like “Oh yeah, I forgot to post that!” I’m inclined to feel like a failure because this keeps happening. But I just have to remind myself that this whole “post a new track every Friday” thing was something I decided on a whim as a test to see if it makes the algorithm happy (it does) and give myself arbitrary deadlines to make sure I stay on task. I may have slipped up a few times along the way, but it’s largely been successful. I’ve got all but the last track done on this album, and by the time it’s finished posting, I should have everything done for the next one, too.
Anyway, you know that part of the story where the protagonist(s) gets a hold of whatever macguffin they’re after and they have to escape some imminent danger before they go confront the big bad in a final showdown? This song is that part.
